Overview

Two brand-new capabilities lead Coevera 3.2.0. The BI Feeder lets any business intelligence tool that can connect to a PostgreSQL database — such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio — query your Coevera data, so you can report on aggregated figures across your whole environment and connect sales data to data from other departments like Marketing or Finance. Data is queried and edited inside your BI solution without affecting the speed of the Coevera app, custom dashboards are easy to build, and a daily synchronization keeps everything ready for reporting; exporting is currently supported only to a PostgreSQL database.

The release also adds a native integration with Jira for Cloud, one of the most widely used software-development tools. You can connect a Coevera space to one of your Jira projects and have Tasks you create in Coevera generate issues for your development team directly from within Coevera, with extensive choices for mapping Coevera Task fields to Jira issues as part of the configuration; changes made to either the Coevera Task or the Jira issue trigger an update to the corresponding record in the other system. Rounding out 3.2.0 is a bundle of usability improvements spanning clickable Dashboard drill-downs, a List View for Feeds, filtering on Editors and Watchers, activity-scheduling refinements, and Email HTML Template enhancements.

Brand New Jira Integration

We have developed an integration between Coevera and one of the most popular, and widely used, Software development tools, Jira for Cloud. This native integration allows you to connect your Coevera space to one of your Jira projects and then synchronizes Tasks that you create in Coevera creating issues for your development team directly from within Coevera. There are extensive choices for mapping Coevera Task fields to Jira issues as part of the configuration. Changes made either to the Coevera Task or the Jira Issue will trigger an update to the corresponding record in the other system.

Coevera is getting better and better with each new release. If you’re curious, about what other releases we had, please visit our “Release Notes” section.
